Chelmsford Green Drinks

Chelmsford Green Drinks is the regular NON-PARTY POLITICAL meet-up for a drink and a chat for anyone interested in environmental issues.

We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you'll be made welcome. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone tries to invite someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.

These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good!

We are currently meeting every 4th Tuesday of the month, from 7.30pm, at:

"The Angel" Pub,
160 Main Rd, Broomfield, Chelmsford, Essex. CM1 7AH.

If you want to be kept upto date with our latest news or information about our meets - and be added to our "Green Drinks" emailing list - please email us at

Stand for Council

The Essex Green Party has had success electing Green Party councillors to Borough levels and to the Essex County Council as well.

We need lots of candidates to stand in as many divisions as possible in our local elections to give as many people as possible the chance to vote green in our local elections.

Candidates must be members of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
