Our
aim is to make effective progress towards a fair and sustainable
society, through campaigning and by having Green Party candidates
elected to Chelmsford Borough Council, Brentwood Borough Council and
Essex County Council. We will also aim to have candidates elected to
seats in the national Parliament and the European Parliament.
You
will find details of upcoming events and some of our activities on this
website. To find out more, or to become involved, please come along to one
of our meetings, which are held every month at different
locations in Chelmsford or Brentwood. We will ensure that the meeting
date and time of the meetings is posted on our website as soon as it is
decided.
You do
not need to be a party member to attend a meeting - everyone is
welcome. The meetings are quite informal and typically include
announcements of forthcoming events, discussion of environmental or
social justice issues, and planning of future events.

News 2009 - 2010UK Parliamentary General Election 2010
The UK Parliamentary General Elections
will be in 2010. The Green Party is hoping to win our first seats
in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. We are activley seeking candidates for UK constituencies, including those in Essex.
